37. Are the course prices tax-inclusive?
The current plans page states that displayed package prices may exclude Japan’s 10% consumption tax, which is added during checkout. For clarity, EDS should display the tax-inclusive total as the primary price everywhere.Customers should review the final checkout total before paying.
38. Are Driver’s License Center fees included?
No. Unless a plan explicitly states otherwise, government examination, issuance, retest, course, transportation, and other Driver’s License Center expenses are separate from EDS tuition.
39. Is there an enrollment or administration fee?
Some beginner plans currently list a separate ¥5,000 enrollment and administration fee payable in cash. Customers should check the selected plan for the latest amount and payment method.
40. Does EDS offer installment payments?
The current website says traditional installment payments are unavailable. Customers who prefer to pay by stage can purchase the separate Stage 1 and Stage 2 packages, but these are separate purchases rather than an installment agreement.
